PEAK Surgical is a medical device company that is developing a new class of tissue dissection systems based on a proprietary technology, which represents a quantum leap over surgical instruments in use today.
Our mission is to provide physicians with surgical tools that have the precision of a scalpel and the bleeding control of traditional electrosurgery without the extensive collateral damage – a revolutionary benefit that fills a critical market gap.
Our tools are based on proprietary pulsed plasma technology, which limits heat diffusion and associated heat damage to surrounding tissue. Our flagship product, the PEAK Surgery System, combines the PULSAR Generator, which supplies unrivaled pulsed plasma radiofrequency energy, with the PEAK PlasmaBlade. Preclinical studies have shown that the PEAK PlasmaBlade may offer a new alternative for surgeons to potentially provide better outcomes for their patients, including increased procedure efficiency, reduced scarring, faster and stronger wound healing and faster recovery.
